The AFC East has another tie atop the division. It has quickly turned into a 2 team race. The Dolphins must get help to get back in the race and help could be on the way.
New England Patriots (6-2)
The Patriots were throttled by the Cleveland Browns last week and looked terrible in the process. This week, things do not get any easier as the Pats travel to Pittsburgh for a Sunday Night Matchup with the 6-2 Steelers.
New York Jets (6-2)
The Jets played terribly again last week against the Lions in Detroit. However, they were able to pick up the win in the end and pull into a first place tie with the Pats. The Jets now head to Cleveland for a date with their former coach Eric Mangini. Cleveland is playing well and could give the Jets all they can handle on Sunday.
Miami Dolphins (4-4)
The Dolphins were outplayed in every phase of the game Sunday in Baltimore. They now head home and will play 2 games in 5 days. 2 wins could put the Dolphins right back in the playoff picture. With Chad Pennington taking over at QB the offense hopes to ignite a spark this week against Tennessee.
Buffalo Bills (0-8)
The Bills lost again, last week to the Chicago Bears. This week they take on Detroit who just lost their QB Matthew Stafford for the year. Buffalo is not in contention for the division title, but could play a key role. If the Dolphins hope to get into the playoffs, a few key upsets by the Bills could play a big role.
There you have it Phin Nation, the week ahead. With a win on Sunday against the Titans and both teams ahead of them playing the 2nd of 2 straight road games, the Phins could make up ground quickly. Oh, by the way, it would be great if the Falcons could take care of the Ravens Thursday night to give them their 3rd loss!
