Dolphins draft plans after their Free Agency additions
The second draft scenario is based on Miami re-signing Randy Starks, but are not able to sign a RT before draft day.

Cyrus Kuoandjio, LT from Alabama, was once considered to be among the top 20 overall draft picks, but unfortunately for the impressive looking Kuoandjio, during the NFL Combine, a possible arthritic knee, raised concerns about his durability in the NFL. He has consequently dropped in the rankings. He’s still expected to go in the first round of the draft, but now near the end of the 1st.
Taylor Lewan in contrast was very much within the Dolphins reach as recently as January, however, after his evaluation and performance during the combine, Lewan is well beyond our reach at # 19. I am not crazy about drafting a smaller OL for the left side, so I decided I am not going to stay with Zach Martin and David Yankey. Yankey is expected to be more of an OG when he moves to the NFL has dropped to near the end of the 1st round as well. I believe there may be more value in trading down without necessarily suffering a significant drop in talent and if the Dolphins could trade down from the 19th position and acquire an additional second round, it may pay off.
