Dolphins Gameplan: Just win baby, WIN!!!
For me, it becomes a no brainer game plan. Stuff the run with 8 man boxes and rush blitzes and go out of your way to establish your own rushing attack.
This is the game to allow Lamar Miller, Daniel Thomas and even Charles Clay to flex their muscles. Clay has had mixed results in short yarded situations, but his toughness is unquestioned.
Buffalo’s passing offense is 29th and Thad Lewis is an inexperienced quarterback. Miami is dealing with injuries in the secondary, but it seems that the next man up is always ready. I would not be surprised if the team’s newly signed player, Chris Owens, just signed off of waivers from the Cleveland Browns, came up with a signature interception, it’s not like it didn’t happen just last week with Michael Thomas.
Brent Grimes might even play, but I think he should take his time if his injury could be re-aggrevated. Kevin Coyle is a master at mixing up the coverages and confusing quarterbacks into interceptions. The over/under for picks, in my opinion, is 2.
The Dolphins should not be afraid to let Ryan Tannehill do his thing, but they have to get the ball out of his hands quickly and take their shots, as they have done during their hot streak.
There is a real chance for a Miami blow out and I believe that Mike Wallace should be targeted deep 5 times. The defensive backs cannot keep up and Ryan will have to gain confidence in the throw for Miami to be the Super Bowl contender that I believe them to be.
While conventional turnovers are game killers an interception and a bomb is not much different from a punt. There is very little downside as long as the entire offense is aware that they need to cover the ball as if there were a punt in the air, just in case. My prediction: Miami Dolphins 38 – Buffalo Bills 17
