- The Dolphins signed former Pro Bowl cornerback Al Harris after a 7am workout this morning. To make room on the roster, the Dolphins cut their former 1st round pick, Jason Allen. 2 weeks ago Allen was the starting cornerback opposite Vontae Davis. Now he’s looking for a new place to work.

- Philip Merling, the Dolphins defensive end that was injured prior to training camp, could make his return this week.  After losing Jared Odrick earlier this year, defensive end depth could be bolstered by the return of Merling.
