Dolphins’ Reggie Bush hopes to play Sunday & doesn’t feel bad for Jets

Lamar Miller has shown good vision and some explosion when he gets a handoff.  Miller has only been active for 2 of the Dolphins games this season, but has rushed well when given the opportunity.  He has 19 carries for 113 yards and 1 TD (5.9 yards per carry).  It’s clear that Miller has a higher upside than Thomas, but he must continue to work to learn the playbook.  As we saw last week against the Jets, when Ryan Tannehill turned to hand off to Miller, he was moving in the opposite direction because he didn’t know the play.  This must be corrected for the Dolphins coaches to trust him more.

When speaking with reporters, Bush also expressed his lack of sympathy for the Jets’ losing Darrelle Revis for the season to an ACL injury.  In a radio interview Tuesday, according to the Palm Beach Post, Bush said:

“It’s like the old saying, what goes around comes around,” Bush said. “They talked about all week about putting hot sauce and this and that, and they ended up losing their best player for the rest of the season. So, it’s sad that it happened because of that, but I’m going to be back.”

I don’t blame Reggie for feeling this way, especially after the comments made by Calvin Pace earlier this week.  Pace later talked down his assertion that the Jets knew they had to get Bush ‘on out’ of the game.  Bush has had some injuries in his career, so he knows that it means to miss time.  Hopefully he can get back on the field as soon as he’s healthy….the Dolphins could certainly use him!
