According to observers, Naanee had a solid training camp and impressed Dolphins coaches. He was the Dolphins #2 wide receiver, while Brian Hartline recovered from his calf injury. Hartline took over once he returned, but Naanee was still listed as the #3 receiver in Sunday’s game against the Cardinals. Now he’s gone. And I can’t get this song out of my head: Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Ne Ne Ne, Goooood-bye
Last year with the Redskins, Gaffney caught 68 balls for 947 yards and 5 TDs. The Dolphins are desperately hoping he can step in and be the third receiving target the Dolphins offense has lacked this season. It will take Gaffney time to learn the playbook. BUT, if he’s healthy, I suspect the Dolphins will give him a small number of plays to learn by Sundays game against the Bengals. I believe, if he’s healthy, he’ll make the trip to Cincinnati. Don’t worry, he’s already picked a jersey number and it’s not the cursed #19….Gaffney will wear #10 for the Dolphins.
