Part 2: Looking deeper into possible Dolphins draft targets
5-Stanley Jean-Baptiste – Corner Back from Nebraska (originally from Miami, Florida— he went to Central High School… the #1 high school football team in the USA) 6’3″ 220 LBS- 40 Time: 4:56
“Capable of changing directions well to maintain close proximity to the receiver. Good ball skills, including the ability to extend and pluck outside of his frame.” Rob Rang nfldraftscout.com
6- Deandre Coleman – Defensive Tackle from California – 6’5″, 315 LBS- 40 Time: 5:12
“Extends his arms nicely to keep blockers away from his chest, demonstrating the ability to shed and get a hand on ball-carriers if they attempt to run near him. Above average initial quickness and straight-line speed for a man of his size. Durable performer who played in all 37 games over the past three seasons.”
“ Byndom’s lean frame allowed him to be pushed around by some of the bigger, more physical receivers in the conference, but his agility and hand-eye coordination quickly established him as a cornerback to think twice about challenging.” Rob Rang nfldraftscout.com
The Senior Bowl will be played this weekend and obviously some of these player will slip down the ratings while others will climb according to performance, possible injuries etc. The same will happen when NFL Combine takes place later on this year. I will be keeping up with these changes as they happen.
