The PhinNation Podcast: Featuring Miami Dolphins fans!
It’s been a while Dolphins fans, hasn’t it? First, we hope that you are all staying safe and healthy during the COVID pandemic. Second, we wanted to let you know that PhinNation is officially back and ready to talk with YOU about Miami Dolphins football. The blog will be back up and running and we will also be doing a podcast 1, 2, 3+ times per week depending on the news of the week.
I know what you’re saying, “I don’t need another podcast in my life”. I get it, trust me I do. I listen to podcasts throughout the day and have about 10 that are in my rotation. And I know there are a lot of other Dolphins podcasts out there (I listen to many of them!). My go-to’s are Travis on the Drivetime Podcast, Kyle on Locked on Dolphins, Chris, Alf, and Simon on 3YPC, and Jake/Josh on the Phinsider. They are all good and offer Dolphins fans a lot of draft analysis, X’s and O’s, etc. The PhinNation podcast will be a little bit of each of them, but with one big difference………YOU!
That’s right, the PhinNation Podcast is going to feature other Dolphins fans from around the world. I want to hear your thoughts on the Dolphins (news of the day, following wins/losses, who they’re drafting, everything!). So the idea will be for me to jump on a podcast and have a spirited conversation with another Dolphins fan each week about a current topic.
We’ve recorded 2 episodes thus far, the first is me giving you a brief intro and the second featured another NFL fan, Greg. Greg and I talked about a few Dolphins issues (Deshaun, the draft, etc.). As the podcast continues to grow, you’ll hear the production quality improve (music, sound quality, etc.), but we wanted to get started, producing content as quickly as we could.
Currently you can listen/download the podcast on 7 different platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Pocket Casts, and Breaker. There’s a podcast player on PhinNation.com (top left for desktop, near the bottom on mobile), if you’d like to listen to it that way. You can also check out our page on Anchor Podcasts here.
The next episode, which will record on Tuesday, will feature one of you! If you are interested in joining, send me your best argument on the topic below:
- Should the Dolphins trade for Deshaun Watson and what cost would you be willing to give up (picks, players, etc.). Or do you think the Dolphins should use their capital to build around Tua.
Send us your best argument to PhinNationblog@gmail.com or tweet us @PhinNation on Twitter. We’ll choose one fan to join us on the next podcast to debate! Please send us your reply by Monday (2/22) @ 10pm.
