Pitiful Picks: Can the Dolphins win their 4th straight?
Jaguars +5 over Titans
This doesn’t really have anything to do with the playoff picture, but I believe the Jaguars will win this game outright. The fact that they’re getting 5 points is just a bonus. The Jaguars will be up for this game at home, hoping to end the season with some momentum. Prediction: Jaguars 17 Titans 16
Vikings +8.5 over Bengals
The Bengals are pretty inconsistent. They are the division leaders currently, but there is still a pretty good chance that they’ll miss the playoffs entirely if they lose this week and lose to the Ravens next week. I think the Bengals will win the game, but I think the Vikings keep it close. Prediction: Bengals 33 Vikings 27
Colts +7 over Chiefs
This game doesn’t directly effect the Dolphins, at least regarding their chances of making the playoffs. It could effect seeding if the Dolphins win the AFC East. It could also help determine who the Dolphins play, if they manage to earn the #6 seed. I think the Colts get their swagger back and AT LEAST keep this game close. Prediction: Chiefs 27 Colts 24
Dolphins -3 over Bills
This game is very hard to predict. Will the Dolphins team that has played so well the last few weeks show up? Or will the Dolphins team come out flat and listless against Thad Lewis……again? I’m guessing the Dolphins, with the playoffs within reach, play to their potential. My biggest concern is how well the offensive line will stack up against the fierce Bills defensive front. The Dolphins lead the league in sacks allowed and the Bills lead the league in sacks.
I think Tannehill will continue to throw his short passes, control the clock, and lead the Dolphins to a victory. The key will be for Tannehill to get rid of the ball quickly. He won’t have a lot of time to sit back and go through all of his progressions. Let’s just hope and pray that they can escape Buffalo with the win. Prediction: Dolphins 24 Bills 19
