Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins have come to a contract agreement, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN:
This is obviously the news that Dolphins fans have been waiting for as their quarterback of the future is now under contract and has reported to camp. He will participate in the Dolphins Sunday practice and meetings. Tannehill missed the Dolphins Friday and Saturdays practices, so he will have some catching up to do on the offensive installations. However, I do not think that missing 2 days of camp is terrible in the long run.
Tannehill has a solid grasp of the Dolphins playbook, considering his new offensive coordinator is his old head coach! Tannehill’s biggest challenge has been the speed of the NFL. He will get a chance to start learning tomorrow, as Joe Philbin said the Dolphins will hold their first practice with pads and hitting on Sunday. Welcome, officially, to the Miami Dolphins #17!!!
