Wake and Patterson return to practice, as Dolphins get ready for Bills

Are you ready for some football? Miami Dolphins’ football that is. The bye week is over as the Dolphins hit the practice field in Davie on Monday. Cameron Wake is said to be feeling better as is Dimitri Patterson. Both participated in the team portions of practice, which is definitely encouraging!  Paul Soliai and Michael Egnew both missed practice, but Coach Philbin did not give a reason.  Dannell Ellerbe stretched with the team, but did not practice with the team.  His status is unknown for Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Side note: The PhinNation.com crew will be at the game in the Club Level and at the VIP Tailgate party. If you’re going to be there and want to meet up, leave us a comment and we’ll try to organize a meet up!  If you need tickets to the game, check out VividSeats here

Miami’s performance on offense has been called into question and analysts and bloggers have offered all sort of suggestions as to how to best improve on it. One thing is clear and agreed upon by just about everyone with an opinion on the matter;  the amount of QB sacks  Ryan Tannehill has been subjected to is unacceptable and will undoubtedly take a toll on the health of the courageous young QB. The Dolphins are on track to break the NFL record for QB sacks allowed at the current pace they’re on.

Buffalo has shown flashes of greatness under the leadership of rookie QB E J Manuel, but Manuel has been sidelined with an injury and in his place,  Thad Lewis has done a fairly good job.  However, Lewis was injured on Sunday and is listed as day to day by the Bills. To address the QB injuries, Buffalo signed free agent QB Matt Flynn on Monday.  Who to plan for? We just don’t know at this point. One thing to bear in mind is that Buffalo has been competitive, so this game will not be easy.  (continued on page 2, CLICK HERE)
