It’s time for the Miami Dolphins to move on….
A lot more than Xs and Os will dominate this game. Are the Dolphins going to be an unstoppable force to be reckoned with, or are we going to see the Tampa Bay Bucs play with a little more energy than the Monday night game itself can generate? Will the Bucs feel like this game is more than just about winning their first game of the season, be a lot more physical and maybe even engage the Dolphins in occasional extra curricular activities on the field of play?
Athletes around the league have, verbally at least, adhered to the honor code they’re expected to live by, but according to the unscientific study done by ESPN which revealed a bit more than what has been talked about. There may be underlying resentment towards how the entire drama has unfolded and maybe the Dolphins locker room by extension.
A story may be told on Monday night. A story telling of just how difficult the Dolphins season may have just become. We’re also bound to see the story continued over the course of the next 8 games. Don Shula, who recently spoke with the Miami Herald regarding this saga said the following “”You win with good people on and off the field,”
Shula told the newspaper. “They took a chance on a guy with a bad reputation, and it backfired on them.” If this feeling is prevalent in teams around the NFL, the Dolphins’ road to a possible division race, may become a little steeper and rockier but, we’ll get a better sense of this is true or not on Monday night.
