Pitiful Picks: No Dolphins, but plenty of rooting to do
The Miami Dolphins win on Thursday night allows us all to have a stress-free Sunday. The Dolphins will not play again until NEXT Monday night against the winless Bucs. In the meantime, there are a lot of games of interest and could impact the Dolphins playoff hopes down the line. We’re going to pick some of those games and try to improve on our 15-19 record in Pitiful Picks on the season.
Sitting at 4-4, the Dolphins are out of the playoff picture right now, but the events of today could improve their chances. So let’s get to our Pitiful Picks and see how Sunday plays out:
Jets +7 over Saints
Like all of you, I will be rooting for the Saints in this game. I know their offense is high powered, but the Jets defense (except for last week when we freaking picked them), has been good this season. I think Rex Ryan will come up with a game plan to keep this game close. As much as I’d like to see the Saints blow out the Jets, I just don’t see them doing it. Prediction: Saints 27 Jets 21
Rams +3 over Titans
The Rams have been inconsistent this season. They’ve lost 2 straight games. The Titans? They were 3-1 before falling to 3-4 after losing 3 straight games. The Rams are 2-2 at home on the season and I’ll take 3 points with Jeff Fisher at the helm. Prediction: Rams 20 Titans 17 (continued on page 2, CLICK HERE)
